WithSecure and Sustainability
WithSecure is a company which aims to develop technology, and also take care of society and the world we live in. We believe that we can make a change by empowering our customers to adjust their settings in a responsible and informed manner. We want to provide visibility on the sustainability impact of the settings, in particular the impact on the planet through energy-intensity of the features.
User behavior in relation to environmental data
In particular, those of you who attended our SPHERE’23 event may remember our idea of enriching the profile editors with more context. This concept is exciting, but before proceeding with development, we would like to examine how environmental aspects are perceived and how effectively this data could influence our user’s choices, as quality of protection remains and will always be top priority for WithSecure.
