PSB for Mac & Windows - difference

Are all computer protection settings applied to both Mac and Windows - what about the firewall components? How are profiles supposed to be used in a mixed environment? How can we know what is where - the portal is veeeery windows-oriented it seems.

Hi,

 

Mac product doesn't yet have profile management. It will be coming later this year and most likely it will be shown as own tab in the profiles page, so that it is clear which settings are for Mac and which for Windows.

So if I assign a profile to a Mac, it will still "look like" it is assigned, but it is not. A bit confusing in the UI then, but at least the functionality is now clear.

Hi,

 

I agree that it is currently confusing. Added this issue to fix list, so that you could not assign Computer Protection profiles to Mac computers before they support profiles.
