I'm testing with PSB Premium trial version. I configured DataGuard for couple computers and it doesn't do anything. I can still can save files with programs which are not installed to Program Files.

Workstation application doesn't show any protected folders in DataGuard settings. It probably should show those. Am I doing something wrong here? How should I add those mapped network drives? E:\ is local drive.

    Hi,

You cannot add entire disk to protected folders because it will be too dangerous - you can easily block then SYSTEM applications and break your windows. You need to specify folder names and it cannot be disk root or system folders.

    Hi,

    thank you for the response.

But I still can't add network folders.

    I have tried these paths:

    P:\Test

    \\?\Server\P\Test

    \\Server\P\Test

Nothing works. Folders are not showing in clients Dataguards protected folders. C:\Test works fine though.

Is it even possible to add network drives?
