    An update to the WithSecure Elements Mobile Protection app for Android (24.2.0022759) has been completed 8 April 2024. It will be released as a phased rollout over the next seven days.

    • Support for Network Gateway was added
    • The app and the WithSecure Elements Endpoint Protection portal now support the following settings:
      • Network Gateway
      • Reputation-based browsing
        • Block access to web sites rated as harmful
        • Block access to web sites rated as suspicious
        • Block access to web sites rated as prohibited
        • Block trackers found on web sites
      • Web content control
        • Block everything except allowed sites
      • Web site exceptions
        • Allowed sites
        • Denied sites
      • Include the blocked URLs in all security events
    • The app and the WithSecure Elements Endpoint Protection portal now support security events for Browsing protection

    An update to the WithSecure Elements Mobile Protection app for iOS (24.3.10821) will be released as a phased rollout over the next seven days. The rollout begins today and we expect to complete it by 23 April.

    It includes the following new features and improvements:

    • The app now supports Firebase Crashlytics
    • The app now handles multiple remote operations seamlessly 
    • The app can now automatically select the appropriate VPN profile
    • Improvements to app stability on iPads
    • Improvements to app stability for non-secured HTTP traffic

    An update to the WithSecure Elements Mobile Protection app for Android (24.3.0022772) will be released as a phased rollout over the next seven days. The rollout begins today and we expect to complete it by 23 April.

    It includes the following new features and improvements:

    • Android 9 support has been dropped, Malware Protection will be still available on these devices
    • Improvements to app stability

    Fixed issues:

    • The app now retains last recorded logs for up to 3 days, as specified in the original specifications

    An update to the WithSecure Elements Mobile Protection app for Android (24.4.0022781) will be released as a phased rollout over the next seven days. The rollout begins today and we expect to complete it by 6 May.

    It includes the following fixed issues:

    • The app now allows Samsung devices to receive updates when Network Protection is turned on

    An update to the WithSecure Elements Mobile Protection app for iOS (24.4.10902) will be released as a phased rollout over the next seven days. The rollout begins today and we expect to complete it by 10 June.

    It includes the following new features and improvements:

    • Improved the app battery consumption
    • Removed the security parameter "Available Disk Space" to comply with the latest Apple regulations
    • Updated the port used by Network Gateway to avoid interference with other standalone applications
    • The app now handles profile settings even when it is not running
    • The app now sends upstream data even when it is not running

    Fixed issues:

    • The timestamp format is now compliant with other WithSecure products under Security Events in the WithSecure Elements Endpoint Protection portal

    An update to the WithSecure Elements Mobile Protection app for Android (24.5.0022817) will be released as a phased rollout over the next seven days. The rollout begins today and we expect to complete it by 5 July.

    It includes the following new features and improvements:

    • The app and the WithSecure Elements Endpoint Protection portal now support the security parameter for unsupported OS
    • The app and the WithSecure Elements Endpoint Protection portal now support the web content control setting
    • The StrandHogg vulnerability was removed
    • Improvements to app stability

    Fixed issues:

    • The proxy configuration under Security Parameter in the WithSecure Elements Endpoint Protection portal no longer takes the Network Gateway status into account

    It includes the following new features and improvements:

    • Replaced "Traffic protection" with "Recent activity"
    • Redesigned the main app interface
    • Extended details now shown for checked URLs
    • The app now supports false positive reporting
    • The app now supports proxy chain
