This GPO setting prevents removing the older F-secure version of extension.

Go to Computer
Configuration/Policies/Administrative
Templates/Mozilla/Firefox/Extensions/Prevent extensions from being
disabled or removed and edit the policy as follows:

  1. Select Enabled to turn the policy on.
  2. Under Options, select Show... and enter the following value: ols@f-secure.com.

    Hi @Jukka

Thank you for reaching out the WithSecure Community,

To prevent removing the WithSecure Browser Protection extension in Firefox using GPO, you can follow these steps:

NOTE: Please ensure that you use in Client Security/Server Security 16.00 and https://download.sp.f-secure.com/online-safety/fs_firefox_https.xpi in Client Security/Server Security 15.x or Elements EPP for Computers/Servers.

Also, you should use the new extension ID for Mozilla Firefox, ols_main@withsecure.com in Client Security/Server Security 16.00.https://download.withsecure.com/online-safety/ws_firefox_https.xpi

I hope this helps you secure your browser and your online privacy. If you have any other questions, please let me know. 😊

    Best regards,
