Windows 10 "ESU" devices ?

How to identify Windows 10 devices which have ESU activated ?
Should such devices still being shown with OS End of Life = Yes ?

Hi Sethu,

products in use are Elements EPP (and EDR) and I am talking espc. about the "Devices View" in ESC.
There are at least 2 Win10 machines amongst others with ESU activated but column "OS End of Life" still shows "Yes" for both devices.

Any idea ?

How to Check for ESU Activation:
- slmgr /dlvLook for any mention of ESU in the details.
- Windows Updates:
  If your device is still getting security updates after October 2025, it likely has ESU.
- HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\ESU
Will These Devices Still Show as End of Life (EOL)?
- Normally, Windows 10 devices will show as EOL after October 14, 2025.
- If ESU is active:
  Your device is still getting security updates and should NOT be considered EOL until October 2030.
- Some tools may not detect ESU automatically. If you see EOL warnings but have ESU, check with your IT or tool provider.

Summary Table:

Windows 10 Device Status	Should Show EOL?
No ESU (no extra updates)	Yes (after Oct 2025)
ESU Activated (extra updates)	No (until Oct 2030)
