I have a question regarding terminal server protection

I want to know more about WithSecure Elements Endpoint Protection for Servers, i saw some older information how withsecure used to protect terminal server

Example 1:

A customer has a one server

• Citrix Server which allows 20 simultaneous users to connect.

The customer will need to purchase:

• 1 subscription of F-Secure Server Protection for the base installation
• 20 subscriptions of F-Secure Remote Desktop Protection to cover the usage

Is this still a thing? If we buy WithSecure Eleements Endpoint protection for one terminal server, do we still need some other products to protect every session? I cant find anything about it.

Hey JoeP,

Yes, this is still required. To protect a terminal server (Citrix/RDP), you need:

1. 1x WithSecure Elements EPP for Servers (for the host machine).
2. 20x WithSecure Elements EPP for Remote Desktops (one for each concurrent user session).

Protecting the server and protecting the user sessions are treated as two separate security use cases and require both license types.
