Exclude a location/URL from Web Traffic Scanning

I have a .jar file which is detected by Web Traffic scanning, which is in this case important for the customer. It is on a local web server.

How can I exclude this location or URL from Web Traffic scanning?

    Hello VR46,

You can exclude objects within the psb portal under Scanning exclusions> Objects excluded from real-time scanning or define a trusted URL under Browsing protection>Trusted Sites

    Hi Ben,

The interface is not exactly clear here. Under "Real-time scanning", Scan web traffic and remove found viruses is enabled.

I tried to whitelist the .jar file that was triggered, but this gave no solution.

The other option you give is to whitelist it under browsing protection. But I don't think this goes for the "Scan web traffic" option.

    Can you please clarify.

    Regards,

    Vincent

    Hello,

False alarm situations are best solved by submitting the file to F-Secure Lab, so they can fix it centrally, by issuing a new malware definitions update. See here:

(Generally we have poor experience with on-site exclusion attempts.)
