The program can't start because api-ms-win-crt-runtime-l1-1-0.dll is missing...

in Business Suite

After installing F-secure Client Security 13.10 (Windows 7 x32) i couldn't start Client Security the error was (Picture 1.) . I had installed Microsoft Visual C++ 2005, 2008, 2010, 2012 (Picture 2.).

    Shouldn't the pre-requisite check and if necessary, even the auto-download and auto-installation of that component be part of the F-Secure Client Security setup wizard?

    not solwed because i got new instalation error:0xc8000247

    Hello Djole,

     

    "The program can't start..." message appears, when the user attempts to open the Main GUI window of already successfully installed product.

    Please, provide more details (and a screenshot, if possible), when and where did you get this installation error.

    Dear Vad

    Thanks for the fast response. I got this problem when i install FSecure and try to start program. First i get fscuif.exe - System error...because api-ms-win-crt-runtime-l1-1-0.dll is missing… and then after trying to install Windows6.1-KB2999226-x86.msu I got Windows Update Standalone Installer massage Instaler encountered an error:0xc8000247.

    I have 64 bit Win 7

    I didnt succeed to insert screenshot in massage.

    Hello Djole,

     

    Please, try to install all missing Windows updates automatically. This should resolve your problem.

    Thanks for the help. I solve the problem by manually instaled (downloaded) missing file that is connected with api-ms-win-crt-runtime-l1-1-0.dll...how to say. Automaticaly Win update didnt solve the problem, but manually did.
