Can we create subdomains for our subsidiaries

Hi support,

Can we create subdomains for our subsidiaries and then give the IT administrator access to just his domain to manage this equipment?

    I'm sorry for any uncertainty regarding your query. If you are indeed referring to the Elements EPP portal, you can add a new administrator account by following the instructions detailed in the provided help guide, accessible through the following link:

    Add Administrator Guide

    Upon completing this process, the newly added user will receive an email notification, inviting them to the Elements Endpoint Protection portal. In the email, they will be prompted to reset their password.

    Please note that it is not possible to create an administrator account in the Elements Endpoint Detection and Response portal directly. When an administrator account is created in the Endpoint Protection portal, they will automatically gain access to the Endpoint Detection and Response portal if their account is associated with an Elements Endpoint Detection and Response subscription key.

    Additionally, if you need to edit or remove an administrator account in the Elements Endpoint Protection Portal, you can find detailed instructions in the following help guide:

    Please refer to these guides for specific steps on managing administrator accounts within the Elements EPP portal.

    If your company is Partner Managed and want to have your own login account to manage your own devices, we advise you to discuss this arrangement with the Solution Provider.

    Else we need to get assistance from the Account Manager or Order Services Team in regard to creating customer's Elements EPP portal access.

    So if we have a service provider, we cannot, at our level, create sub-domains of management if I understand correctly?

    Hi @Pascal

    You need to ensure that your Elements Endpoint Protection account has both the security management and subscription management rights.

    You can do the following in the Elements Security Center to find out:

    1. Log in to the Elements Security Center
    2. Select Endpoint Protection from the sidebar menu on the left
    3. Select Accounts from the sidebar menu
    4. Expand the Solution provider or Service partner level, on which you account is on
    5. Click on the three dots icon on the right side of the user, and select Edit administrator
    6. Look into the Access rights drop-down menu to find out whether you have the security management rights or subscription management rights

    If you have only Subscription management rights, you need to seek for help from the another colleague who has security management rights, who can then add the rights to your account by following the same steps mentioned above.

    In the screenshot you provided, please click on "Account" under the Endpoint Protection section and follow the steps as instructed earlier. Alternatively, you can reach out to our WithSecure Support team and provide them with your email address for further assistance. We have a dedicated team called Order Services who can help you check if you are able to perform the required action.
