Does the exclusion of WSUS in Software Updater also exclude updates from InTune?

My customer installs Microsoft security patches with InTune. Does the setting to not handle updates from WSUS in Software Updater also handle updates from InTune, or can we end up in a situation when the client tries to install updates from the both sources?

Hi,

No, Software Updater (SWUP) exclusions works only inside SWUP and don't affect other software managers like inTune.

So yes, you can end up with 2 sources of the same updates.

Then I'll exclude all updates with vendor name containing "Microsoft" in Software Updater instead.
