Change product key macOS terminal

Hi,

We've installed WithSecure™ Elements Agent for Computers on multiple iMac computers, but because of an error in the activating of new license, we didn't have the opportunity to add the license key.

Is there a possibility to apply the license throught MacOS Terminal?

We can access the terminal of the iMac with Remote Management.

    Thank you for reaching out the WithSecure Community!

    After installing the product, you need to activate it.

    • You can embed the subscription key into the product package name. The product will be activated during the installation process.
    • You can active the product using the activator tool that is distributed with WithSecure Elements EPP for Computers (Mac) versions 17.8.32555 and newer.

    Note: When renewing a subscription, you do not need to activate it.

    There are two ways to activate it automatically without any user interaction.

    To activate the subscription:

    Note: You need to have internet access to activate the subscription.

    1. To activate the product by embedding the subscription key into the product package name, do one of the following:
      • Select the subscription key while downloading product installation package from WithSecure Elements Security Center
      • Note: If the software management tool does not accept square brackets, you can use double underscore as an alternative solution: ElementsAgentInstaller__XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX__.pkg.
    2. The product will be activated during the installation process.
    3. To activate the product using the activator tool, enter the following command: /Library/WithSecure/bin/activator --subscription-key "<subscription key>"

    Note: The activator tool is distributed with WithSecure Elements EPP for Computers (Mac) versions 17.8.32555 and newer.
