Hello Everyone,

I am facing an error with installation of Withsecure on couple of PC's.

Error is:

"Check for Windows updates 

Could not verify the download server certificates. This could be due to an outdated version of Windows on your system. Update Windows and try installing again."

P.S. Windows is updated.

In the past we have received similar error for other customers, we suspects that the error indicates that your operating system version is outdated and does not meet minimum requirement to install Element Endpoint Protection product.

In addition, ensure that the operating system is updated and Azure Code Signing (ACS) dependencies are patched as Microsoft's minimum requirement.

Also there is chances that there is a connection issue to our backend services to download the required certificate.

It is now necessary to connect to CRL URLs. Please ensure that connections to the following CRL URLs is allowed in your firewall and internal proxy.

crl.sca1b.amazontrust.com
ocsp.rootg2.amazontrust.com
ocsp.sca1b.amazontrust.com
crl3.digicert.com
crl4.digicert.com
ocsp.digicert.com

Open HTTP connections to the CRL URLs above. This is mentioned in the Elements EPP for Computers and Elements EPP for Servers change logs:

If this is a reinstallation, you may try the uninstallation tool here Support tools | WithSecure™ to remove any traces of the product and try to reinstall again to see if it remediates the situation.
