What is the supported formats when creating the safe sender and recipient list for the F-Secure Email and Server Security 14 Spam Control feature?

We have specified the safe senders and recipients list for the spam control by separating each domain name with a space, but we also have used an asterisk (*) as a wildcard. These lists, however contain (*) and also space, as well as domain names and email addresses.

Can I have full email addresses and only domains on the same list?

Yes, you can have full email addresses and only domains in the same list. You can use spaces and / or rows to separate addresses in the same list.

An asterisk (*) can be used as a wildcard and it should be used together with domain like this: *@test.com *@test2.com *@test3.com *@test4.com

For example, you have a domain only and full email address:

*@test.com means all addresses belonging to the test.com are safe.
*@test.com user\ means that test.com and user\ will be treated as separate domains, since there is a space in between.

There is no checking whether they are from same domain or not, engine just checks all entries one by one and the space and rows are for separation.

Note: If you have safe list with that is only a asterisk (*), it means all possible addresses are considered safe by the engine.
