Issue:
Elements Collaboration Protection marks all mailboxes that have lost the connection to Microsoft as TemporaryFailure
Resolution:
Due to the failure or system glitch between Microsoft365 and Collaboration protection, Collaboration Protection sometimes looses connectivity to Microsoft365 accounts. This is causing failure in license validation. Microsoft/Withsecure will never guarantee 100% availability of it's service as it's cloud service. This "Temporary Failure" is to see that possibility. If you see this message, please conduct virus detection test, such as Eicar. If it can be detected, there is no problem. Please wait next 24 hours. Collaboration Protection checks the connectivity to Microsoft365 every 24 hours(as of 03/Mar/2025). If it cannot be detected, please ask customers to check with Microsoft if there is valid license.
