We are please to announce the imminent launch of the new WithSecure™ Elements Agent for Mac.
This release is the first that is branded as WithSecure™ Elements Agent for Mac, previous versions have been called Computer Protection for Mac.
In addition to the change of brand, this release brings a newer fresher user interface to the product, bringing it more in line with our version for Microsoft Windows:
The new version will soon be made available for first time installation from the Elements Download page, and soon after will be pushed automatically to all existing installations.
The same installation package can now be used for all production Elements environments, so a partner with customers in different regions would not need to track individual installers any more.
In addition, this release will also be available through our Early Access program, you can participate in this by enabling “Early Access” in the general settings section of the Mac profiles.
And, coming a little later this year, we will be introducing Software Updater for the Mac client. This will help keep your Mac up to date with a range of third-party applications, so you do not have to manually update these yourself.
