Issue:
Installation of PSB Computer protection / Client Security ends in various error
Resolution:
To solve the installation error, try the steps below. This step can be applied to various errors.
Step 1
Try those first, then try installation.
- Run F-secure Uninstallation tool and reboot the computer
- Clear browser cache.
- Finish all Mail software and Browsers.
- Uninstall(disable)l conflicting software. ex:Antivirus software / System protection software
- Download/copy installation file.
- Check installation Key-code
- Log-off all users and log-in as administration
- Stop 3rd party software via MSCONFIG.
Step 2
Try those first, then try installation.
- Delete the files in "TEMP" folders.
C:\WINDOWS\Temp
C:\Users\[user name]\AppData\Local\Temp
- Apply all Microsoft Update
Step 3
Try those first, then try installation.

- msiinstaller re-resigtration
- Click start, Run those command
msiexec /regserver
msiexec /unreg
- Launch Command Prompt with administrator option.Type the following command to repair system files and press enter:
sfc /scannow
If problem persists, those might be those problem or restrictions.
- OS system is broken totally
- Network to F-secure is not allows in proxy/Firewall
- ActiveDirectry is preventing software to be installed
