Problems with Software updater

Hi,

Software updater has couple updates that have problems installing and then it just keeps asking again and again for boot for many users. I have now exluded 7zip and Windows KB update, but is this like the only solution? Why the updates just keeps failing and requesting boot.

Also Citrix, Mozilla and Acrobar reader wont install updates on every user, but for some those will install updates. But when you try to install it manually from like Mozilla, it goes without and problem.

    We are currently investigating reports of unexpected behavior of WithSecure Elements Endpoint Protection and WithSecure Client Security Software Updater. The following symptoms have been reported:

    • The Software Updater triggers a User Access Control (UAC) prompt asking for administrator credentials when updating third-party software.
    • The Software Updater detects updates that have already been applied and asks for a restart repeatedly.

    We are working on a solution to this behavior. In the meantime, you can subscribe to the Services Status page for updates regarding this issue: https://status.withsecure.com/

    As a workaround, you can temporarily exclude 7zip and KB5026372 updates from being automatically installed or setting up an Automated task to perform a "force restart if required" (after office hours) for some updates.
