    Hi @rien

Thank you for reaching out to the WithSecure Community.

Our real-time scanning feature is designed to provide immediate detection and protection against potential threats by scanning files upon access, rather than on write. This approach ensures that any file accessed or executed is promptly examined for any malicious content.

While we do not currently offer the specific option to scan on write instead of access in our real-time scanning feature, we greatly value user feedback and continuously strive to enhance our product based on industry best practices. We appreciate your suggestion/idea, and I encourage you to share it with us here, so that our Research & Development team can review it thoroughly for consideration in future updates.

For more detailed information about our features and capabilities, please visit here.

If you have any further questions or require additional information, please don't hesitate to ask. We are here to assist you.

    Best regards,
    Sethu
