usedLicenses on Endpoint Protection API

Hey,

I'm working with the Endpoint Protection API and I am collecting data of our customer's license usage.

I've noticed that the usedLinceses(from /companies/{companyUuid}/subscriptions) value changes very often for certain subscriptions.

Is this value current license usage and it changes every time a client goes online/offline or is it daily/monthly highest concurrent license usage for the subscription?

Hi Teemu,

"usedLicenses" represents current license usage and it changes every time new client is registered or existing client is removed from list by administrator or is uninstalled from computer.

I read your message before you edited it and that answer made way more sense.

If the number changes when client is registered/removed, how come the number changes between 0 and 30 daily, depending on the time of the day?

Please note that EPP API is deprecated to collect subscriptions. Our partners should use instead the Provisioning API as indicated in

To answer your question, the number of registered computers is typically not changing fast. In this case, there is probably a very specific set up.
