Issue:
When trying to create a new Elements administrator user account, the management portal gives the error message informing that email address is already in use even though the account does not exist in the database.
User has had a Elements administrator user account before but it has been deleted or removed
Resolution:
If the Elements Portal gives you an email address in use error message, you can try creating the user account with a "+tag" sub-addressing email address. You can create the account for example with firstname.lastname+anything@domain.com. Anything after the + sign is ignored, so the email will be sent to the correct address.
If you encounter any problems regarding user account creation, clear browser cache and try again.
