Issue:
I get a lot of email alerts regarding infections on the customer's computer which has Elements Endpoint Protection (EPP for Computers or EPP for Servers) installed on it. How can I change the infections alerting configuration settings so that I do not get many or none of this emails?
Resolution:
How to enable or disable email infections alerting settings:
- Log in to the Elements portal: https://elements.withsecure.com
- Open the Events section from the menu on the left
- Go to Security events page
- Click on the three dots on the right side of Security Events title
- Select Infections Alerting Configuration
- Select the language from the drop-down list and enter the recipient email address
- Click Save
Note: A WithSecure partner with Solution Provider (SOP) or Service Provider (SEP) access to the Endpoint Protection Portal can add their email address on their level, in which case the emails will include alerts for all the companies visible under them in the Endpoint Protection Portal.
This feature allows you to get notified by email when one of the following events happens:
- AMSI
- DeepGuard
- File scanning
- Scheduled or locally/remotely triggered scanning
