Issue:
Why Am I Getting Error 503 When Attempting to Access Elements EDR?
Resolution:
If you're encountering a 503 error while trying to access EDR, it may be due to recent changes in the system. Here’s an explanation of what’s happening and how to resolve the issue.
Recent Changes: A few weeks ago, the legacy view in EDR (referred to as "EDRv1") was removed from the standard access options. However, it was still accessible via direct links.
Current Update: As of July 8, 2024, support for EDRv1 has been entirely removed.
This means that: Any bookmarks or direct links to EDRv1 views will no longer work.
Troubleshooting the 503 Error: If you receive a 503 error, check the URL you are using to access EDR. If it is:
https://rdr.elements.withsecure.com/
https://elements.withsecure.com/apps/edr (especially if it contains "/apps/edr")
This indicates you are trying to access the old EDRv1 views, which are no longer supported.
Solution: To resolve this issue, you need to switch to using EDRv2, the updated version of EDR available in Elements. Make sure you are using the correct and updated URLs to access the new EDR interface.
By updating your bookmarks and links to the current EDRv2, you should be able to avoid the 503 error and continue using EDR without interruption.
