What happens when DeepGuard detects an exploit in F-Secure corporate products This article applies to the following F-Secure corporate products:
- Client Security
- Email and Server Security
- Computer Protection
DeepGuard analyzes the behavior of programs, and blocks new and undiscovered viruses, worms, and other malicious programs that try to make potentially harmful changes to your computer.
When an exploit is detected, DeepGuard automatically closes the application that has tried to open a potentially harmful web page or document.
A notification also appears on your screen.
The notification gives the following information:
- The file path where the exploit has been identified.
- The file name; in this example, "
test.cmd
". - The reason for closing the application; that is, the exploit that DeepGuard has identified.
