Updating antivirus databases manually This article applies only to the 12-series of the F-Secure corporate products, and it explains how you can manually update the antivirus databases of F-Secure products on Windows platforms.
Note: This article assumes deep technical understanding of both F-Secure products and the relevant operating system. If you are unsure, contact F-Secure support for assistance.
To update the antivirus databases manually:
- Download the
fsdbupdate9.exe file from our download server. The file integrity checksum for the latest fsdbupdate is listed in the fsdbupdate9.txt file. - Execute the fsdbupdate utility program with all databases (Antivirus, Spyware, Spam, Parental, etc.).
