As you are aware, F-Secure Business became WithSecure in March 2022, and the demerger between WithSecure and F-Secure took place on 1 July 2022, with a separation of the B2B and B2C product offerings. We are about to start using new License Terms for our B2B products and services, and are informing you about this in advance.
Why are we changing the license terms?
Our existing license terms (known as EULA or End User License Agreement) were written originally to accommodate both the F-Secure B2B and B2C offerings. With the demerger of the B2B and B2C businesses, we need to have new license terms in place to represent this separation.
At the same time, we are making the terms clearer and more uniform for our B2B products and services. With the new license terms, we are also changing the process related to updating the terms in the future. In the new process we will communicate any material changes 30 days in advance, and continued use of the solution means acceptance of the new terms.
When are these being changed?
The new terms will come into effect from September 15th 2022, with endpoint clients being updated to use them soon afterwards.
Until then, the existing license terms found at https://www.withsecure.com/en/about-us/legal/terms apply.
What do I need to do as a Partner or End-Customer?
In short, nothing, but if you wish you can review the updated terms which you can find at https://www.withsecure.com/en/about-us/legal/terms1. These preview terms are currently only available in English, but will be available in other languages when the new terms come into use.
The updated terms will automatically be applied from September 15th onwards.
Continued use of WithSecure™ products and services means acceptance of these new terms.
If you have questions or concerns about these new terms, please contact your WithSecure™ Sales Representative, and together we will find a solution.
