End of Support: 32 bit compatible updates for macOS

WithSecure will stop providing any 32bit compatible updates for macOS from 30 September 2023.

We will continue to provide 64bit compatible updates for supported versions of our products on supported versions of macOS in the future.

Background

For many years, Apple supported 32bit applications, either on native 32bit hardware, or on 64bit hardware alongside 64bit applications.

The last version of macOS that supported the execution of 32bit applications was macOS 10.14 “Mojave”, and Apple dropped all support for this version in October 2021.

In addition, WithSecure products for Mac ONLY support the last three major revisions of the macOS operating system, and Mojave is already out of support from WithSecure.
