The RDS Mac sensor does not install. What should I do?

If installing the sensor does not succeed, follow these steps to troubleshoot:

Check that the sensor.conf file is copied to the correct location and has the correct privileges, and then rerun the installation.
Check the system logs for general errors (messages starting with the sensord prefix):
```
sudo cat /var/log/system.log | grep sensord
```
Check your configuration
- Check the firewall rules for outbound connections.
- Check that the proxy settings are correct.
- Check that the sensor.conf file exists.
