On October 3rd, 2023, WithSecure Cloud Protection for Salesforce experienced a partial service degradation in the Europe region. We have since deployed a fix for the issue and sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
WithSecure Cloud Protection for Salesforce
On October 3rd starting from approximately 07:20 UTC we detected an irregularity in our systems which led to a temporary file scan disruption in the Europe region. The issue was fixed on October 3rd at 12.55 UTC. Our initial investigations indicate that the cause of the degradation was an update to one of our Security Cloud service components.
What Was the Impact?
Based on our current understanding:
- During the disruption, some uploaded files might not have been scanned
- During the disruption, some file downloads from Salesforce might not have been accessible
What We Have Done and Are Doing:
- We have resolved the degradation and are currently closely monitoring the situation
- We are conducting a thorough post-incident analysis to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary measures to enhance the stability and reliability of our services
What You Can Do:
- The files that were inaccessible during the outage can now be downloaded and will be scanned normally
